Igbos Were Not Behind The Destruction Of Properties In Lagos- Gani Adams
Aare Kakanfo of Yoruba land, Gani Adams may have spoken the mind of many people who witnessed the recent violence that took place in Lagos over protest and many died and properties worth Billions of naira destroyed.
Actually, Chief Ganiyu Adams, popularly known as Gani Adams, is a Nigerian social activist and politician. Gani was the leader of a faction of the ‘Oodua Peoples Congress’, a nationalist organisation based in Nigeria, which supports an autonomous state for the Yoruba people.
After all the destruction that happened in Lagos state, the popular Nigerian social activist recently said that the Igbos were not behind the incident.
According to Gani Adams, the Igbos actually make 25 percent of the Lagos population and most of them are resourceful, so they were not behind the destruction of some parts of Lagos state.
This is according to a popular news page with the name ‘Oriental Times’ on twitter just recently.
